ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

École Avalon School is pleased to announce that we will offer the Academic Enrichment program in the 2023–24 school year, as long as there is enough interest during pre-enrolment. 

The Academic Enrichment program will be available for Grade 7 in its first year. As the first group of students moves to the next grade, we’ll expand the program by one grade level. As long as there is sufficient demand, this process will be followed each year, meaning Avalon will eventually offer Academic Enrichment for Grades 7–9.

Although we believe there is enough demand for the program, there is a possibility it won’t go ahead. If there are not enough students registered by the time pre-enrolment closes on April 14, 2023, we will work with families to determine their options.

Academic Enrichment offers Grades 7–9 students challenging academic experiences by deepening their learning in the core subjects of Mathematics, Science, English Language Arts and Social Studies. It helps prepare junior high students for academic programming in high school, including Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate (I.B.).
