Welcome and Bienvenue to École Avalon School
Dear École Avalon School Community,
At École Avalon, we believe that education extends beyond the classroom—it’s about fostering meaningful relationships and building a supportive community where every student can thrive. Our dedicated staff is committed to nurturing each student's potential, encouraging their growth, and celebrating their achievements.
This year, our theme is “Limitless Potential.” We embrace this concept wholeheartedly, encouraging students to dream big and pursue their passions without boundaries. Whether it's exploring new academic frontiers, engaging in creative endeavors, or developing lifelong skills, we are here to guide and support every step of the way.
Our school thrives on strong partnerships with students, parents, and the broader community. By working together, we create an environment where every individual feels valued and empowered. We invite you to join us in making this year a remarkable journey of discovery and success.
Welcome to École Avalon—where together, we reach beyond limits!
Warm regards,
Geoff Sader, Principal, École Avalon School
For the 2025 - 2026 school year, Avalon School is full in planned classes in Grades 7 to 9 in the regular program, Grade 9 in the French immersion program AND Grade 8 in the Academic Enrichment program. We will no longer accept enrolment requests for Grade 9 in the French immersion program and Grade 8 in the Academic Enrichment program. For the regular program, we will now only accept resident students for Grades 7 to 9 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school’s attendance area. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.
If you are registering for Kindergarten or are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must register online.
Thanks to all the families who pre-enrolled before the March 19, 2025 deadline to help our school get ready for next year!
We had more requests than available space, which means new students will be chosen by random selection in the following grades:
Grade 7 Regular
If your child is entering one of these grades, you will be notified about the results by April 11, 2025.
New families who have pre-enrolled in other programs will be contacted via phone or email over the next 2 weeks.
